Description

Vol. I Mvmt. 3 - The Halls of Redwall (Choir Feature)

As I have said with my previous pieces, please try to listen to the song in terms of the music itself, not the quality of the sound - while I can write music well enough, I really don't know anything about sound mixing.

For the third piece in my musical tribute to the late Mr. Jacques's novel, I wanted to try something a little different. The first two pieces were sweeping orchestral views of Redwall and surrounding country. For this piece I thought about the fact that Redwall is an Abbey - much like a Catholic monastery or convent. In painting a picture of the abbey itself, I decided to try something choral and liturgical-sounding.

I am really not pleased with the mixing on this particular piece at all. Being a choral song, this also has some lyrical elements to it, so if someone is able to work with choir synthesis and has the means to do so, I would love to do a collab on this one. Note me if you're interested.

Here's a second translation. (I took a bit of Latin when I was younger.) This is taken from Google Translate though.
